From March 21 to 26, 2026, Professor Ping-Yi Chen and Assistant Professor Mani Govindasamy from the Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Devices visited Pondicherry University, Alagappa University, and Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU) in India, achieving significant collaborative results.

During the visit to Pondicherry University, the delegation focused on promoting the "1+3 Program" and international internships, while planning a joint Taiwan-India (NSTC-DST) research proposal for advanced energy storage technologies. At Alagappa University, the professors delivered keynote speeches to showcase MCUT’s research capabilities and discussed models for technology commercialization. Finally, the MCUT Center for Intelligent Medical Devices signed an MoU with DSU to encourage international students to participate in research internships, further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of smart healthcare.
